Jessica Garnea M.D.

Jessica Garnea, MD, is originally from Southern California. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt. She is a general pediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care to children from infancy through adolescence and is excited to join Academy Children’s Clinic. Dr. Garnea is passionate about caring for Spanish-speaking families. She began studying Spanish in middle school, minored in Spanish in college, and further developed her skills through study abroad experiences in Costa Rica and Spain, as well as participation in a Spanish language program during residency. Outside of work, Dr. Garnea enjoys playing games and sports and describes herself as adventurous and competitive. She loves traveling and spending time with her friends and family, including her husband and newborn daughter.
